My Yoga journey began over 28 years ago to relieve low back pain during pregnancy. Originally Yoga was a physical practice, but learning the many gifts of yoga and meditation on a personal level, I knew I had found a new door opening, A calling to go deeper into the study of yoga, and share the many gifts of yoga with others. After raising my three children I was looking for a for fulfilling way of working with others to help them feel good not only on a physical level but on a much deeper level. Yoga provided the balance of what I was wanting to share.
I have been teaching yoga 6 + years, and completed my 200 hour training in 2014, and my 300 completed my advanced 300 RYT training with Soma Yoga Institute at Better Living Yoga under the guidance of Alison Scola, Courtney Parkin, Megan Bello and Liz Heffernan.
I love to teach with an emphasis of breath awareness and safe alignment to guide students into mindful sequencing in
Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle, and Restorative classes to guide students through connection of body mind & soul of energetic and emotional awareness through love and compassion. I also teach mindful meditation, Yoga Nida, irest certified and also Reiki 1 & 2 certified.
There is no greater feeling than to see your students leave their practice feeling connected to their breath and feeling good in their body. I teach yoga in group classes, private sessions, workshops, corporate yoga and always look forward to having you join classes & workshops.
During our covid restrictions this website I will be offering zoom online classes and sharing upcoming events, and blog posts.
