Join me from the sanctuary of your home for online "Gentle all levels Yoga "

My approach to yoga is that it should feel good in your body, and that there is great value & longevity through the practice of yoga.  Yoga is so much more than the physical poses, and such a great offering of the innermost connection to nourish our divine nature of joy!  I teach all of my classes with great detail to how you feel in the pose on a gentle level, while also adding in modifications as well as plenty of opportunities to go deeper in your practice.  I teach with an emphasized approach in breath centered classes to regulate the nervous system through the awareness of slowing down the thoughts, opening the body through asana/poses that invite inquiry to listen & be aware in each practice.

My yoga journey began over 30 years ago to relieve back pain during pregnancy.  Originally yoga was a physical practice but learning the many gifts of yoga & meditation on a personal level, I knew I had found a calling to go deeper into the study of yoga & to share these many gifts of yoga with others.  

After raising my 3 children & feeling burnt out in the corporate world, I was looking for a fulfilling way to work with others to help them feel good not only on a physical level, but on a much deeper level.  Yoga provided that balance I was wanting to share.  

I am E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified & have been teaching yoga since 2014.  I completed my 200 RYT through the guidance of Alison Scola through Akasha Yoga in June 2014, and my advanced 300 RYT with Soma Institute at Better Living Yoga in June 2018 under the guidance of Alison Scola, Courtney Parkyn, Liz Heffernan & Megan Bello.

My training is primarily in therapeutic yoga & I am also certified in irest Yoga Nidra  & Rieki I & II certified through Kerry Walker-Collins.

I love mindful meditation and to create mindful yoga sequences to guide you through connection of mind, body & soul of energetic & emotional awareness through love & compassion.  
 I am very much looking forward to connecting and practicing with you! 

Gentle Flow Yoga

​Gentle Flow Yoga is a slower paced therapeutic practice that encourages you to feel into each pose through the connection to the breath and to notice how each pose affects your body.  This  class is taught on multi levels with plenty of modifications to encourage you to challenge yourself if you're looking for that in your practice, or to offer an even gentler approach to your practice.

​All Levels Flow Yoga is for all practitioners including beginners. This class is vinyasa based linking breath to movement through Sun Salutations to help increase your range of movement using breath and body awareness to build healthy alignment and to develop a greater sense of wellbeing. 

Yoga Nidra & Meditation

Yoga Nidra is a sleep meditation that guides you into deeper sense of physical consciousness and awareness. When in deep meditation such as Yoga Nidra your intellectual mind is operating in a relaxed state in a systemic sequence of active listening and relaxing as you are guided through this beautiful practice. Yoga Nidra meditation is great to help relieve stress, and to aid in sleep.

The beauty of yoga is that it can be practiced anywhere, and has become such an important part of our daily lives.  I love that we have the option of online yoga so that we can still connect, learn & grow together as a community no matter how far apart we are!!

Im looking forward to guiding you in your practice, and am always open to suggestions for your practices to keep you feeling healthy & connected in each class.
